Our group survey was about smoking ban customer. We choose this survey because its a very interesting topic and we can have fun during the survey as well as interesting information. It was really good. I actually wanted to know how people feel about the new policy of smoking ban in Illinois State. We went to the student center, Wal-Mart super center and Hunan- the Chinese restaurant. I spend my one hour each day for 3 days to complete my survey. I personally feel if there were more than 10 survey than it would be better because survey on our interesting topic it is fun as well as we can know people's opinion about that survey. My Group was awesome because they all were interested in this survey. I Asked about some good questions such as 1). Is smoking ban good or bad for the people? 2). Making some place for the smokers? 3). Do you avoid to go at the restaurants? 4). Do you like that your friend smoking while you eat? I did total 10 survey, 5 male and 5 female. mostly people from age of 22-35. The answer was interesting and most people like this ban and most of them have changed their opinion about smoking ban now. customers are happy.
My opinion says that I found some interesting facts about new smoking ban policy. I did survey before the ban and at that time people's opinion were different and now they thinking very different. Some people don't want to go to the restaurant before the ban but now they are very happy to go there. Some female avoid to go out side with their friend who are smokers but now they filling very good about that. This kind of survey will be a better to do in the future because we can know different people's different opinion. which can also help to gain our knowledge.

Survey Result -Teenage Suicide
Our group, A Hyun, Asuka and me, surveyed about Teenage Suicide. This is because The rate of teenage suicide in the U.S. is so high and I wondered what they think of it.
Our survey was held at Student Center, Faner Hall and Neely Hall where we live in on February 25th.
Our subjects are 30 people(male: 14/female: 16). We have surveyed 10 people each person.
There are two hypothesises I think; One is Americans are worried about Teenage suicide because its rate is very high. The other is they feel stress about friends relationship and academic pressure.
The Result tells us that almost half of them has experience that their acquaintance commited suicide, they feel stress about friends, academic pressure and loneliness, and the a half of them does not believe the teenage suicide will decrease.
The most interesting, I think, is a half of them thinks that teenage suicide will decrease. I have no idea why they answered like that because there is no efficient method to solve it. However, this will be the wish Americans have.

Survey Result
I think my group topic is really heavy to American. But I want to know about American's thinking about teenage suicide. Actually I was surprised. American teenage suicide is also really high. So, I was wondering about the main reason teenagers commit suicide. I went to Student center, Faner hall and Neely hall for our survey. I met many people in there places. Some of them refused to survey. But most of them were participated in this survey. The total people were 30 which are 14 of male and 16 of female. The age of "19-22" was the biggest group of the entire age groups.
I had two hypotheses. One was many Americans feel stress in relationships. Another was American never heard of teenage suicide happening to someone they knew. But I was wrong. Of course relationships make them stressful. 1/3 of them feel stress in relationships. But over 42% of them feel stress in academic pressure. Interest thing is they feel stress in academic pressure, but they don't think academic pressure is not the main reason teenage suicide. And less than 50% are heard of teenage suicide around them. Other interest things are two. One is many American choose mid-number of teenage suicide happen in U.S. I asked one of them why choose that number of multiply choice. She told me she didn't want to choose big number. That was really impression. Another is American think the best way for decreasing suicide, as parent is counseling and as school is education. During survey, they were always serious, and careful. Even I was a Asian stranger to them they were willing to accept survey. So, I noticed Americans don't hesitate to accept a request. I think this is really nice. In Korea, many people don't like take in survey or they doubt of that. It was a hard experience to me ask people to survey. But It was really fun.

Teenage Suicide
Our group, A Hyun, Ryo and I, decided to find out how people in America think about teenage suicide. I wanted to examine what makes people feel stress. Also, I wanted to know how many people don’t know how often teenage suicide happen per year. More over how many people think teenage suicide would decrease. Our group asked thirty people who are different gender and age in Student Center, Faner Hall, and Neely Hall.
I have three hypotheses about teenage suicide. First, I believed that friend relationship made most people feel stress. Next, I believed that about 75% of the people thought the number of teenage suicide lower than it really happens. Third, I believed that more people thought that teenage suicide did not decrease. Actually, academic pressure makes the most people feel stress. 47% of the people feel stress because of academic pressure and 30% of the people do because of friend relationship. More people don’t know how often teenage suicide happens per year. Teenage suicide happens over 3000 per year. However, more people think that teenage suicide happen 501-1000. Some people said they do not want to believe that teenage suicide happens many times. Lastly, more people think that teenage suicide will decrease. 54% of the people think that teenage suicide will decrease. I think many Americans think teenage suicide is a big problem and they think and know how they can help teenagers who attempt commit a suicide. I hope teenage suicide would decrease and vanish.
